Compliance Not Outsourced, We Know Our Stuff
Legislation has changed the industry so much over the past few years that the role of a property manager has had to evolve. With any new changes, we make it our mission to analyse, interpret and investigate what is required of the new legislation to ensure our properties attain compliance. We discern what is required, train our staff and take action, in-house where possible. We don't expect our client's to pay for contractors to do what we should know and do. Property managers now have to get their hands dirty, we have no problem getting under houses and up ladders, we just don our overalls and get on with it.
Ongoing Compliance Assessing
Compliance to legislation, such as the Health Homes legislation, is ongoing. Compliance of the Act does not stop once a Statement of Compliance has been completed . All aspects of compliance: insulation, heating, ventilation, moisture ingress, drainage and draughtstopping need to be checked regularly to ensure compliance is maintained. Healthy homes details from our initial inspection are added to our inspection checklist and are being checked at our regular inspections.

We keep up to date with new legislation and compliance through subscribed publications and we are active members of the HB Property Investors’ Association.
