HELPING YOU BECOME HEALTHY HOMES COMPLIANT

Megan Burney from RPM presented to the Hawkes Bay Property Investors meeting on 21 June 2021on the Residential Tenancies (Healthy Homes Standards) Regulations 2019.  Megan covered the why, when and what investors need to do to comply and how they can go about getting their rental properties healthy homes compliant under the Regulations.  She also outlined where some landlords go wrong and gave helpful hints.    

Health Homes Compliance is an area where RPM shines.  Our property managers assess all our owner's rental properties for compliance ourselves at no extra cost to our owners, its just all part of our service.  We have also built in the ongoing compliance requirements under Section 66I(1)(bb) of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986, the landlord's ongoing obligation to comply with the healthy homes standards, into our regular routine inspections.
